A Photo Journal

It's 8am on a Sunday. Time to get ready for the wonderful adopted Korean children + their beautiful families that will be coming to visit the Korean Culture Festival!!!

Welcome! Thanks for coming!

The delicious food, prepared by the ladies @ the Korean branch of the multi-cultural Kalamazoo SDA Church

There was traditional Korean music played both by experts + by curious children =)

To some, all that drumming was a little hard on the eardrums, even if it is cultural heritage + all =)

There was also a lot of fun activities for the kids, including a Korean version of "jacks."

The kids loved making origami (hey, isn't that Japanese? well, close enough...)

They also had a blast wearing traditional Korean "hanbok" costumes + taking pics =)

Hey! Don't you guys have an extra-small or anything?

All of us volunteers had such a great time as well =)

After all that, some just pooped out + ready to head home =)

We hope you can make it out again next year! Thank you so much for visiting us + spending time w/ us!

It featured traditional Korean music, delicious Korean food, and a range of fun ativities for the kids including hanbok costumes, making Korean-style sushi, playing traditional Korean drums, making kites, and much more!

Thank you so much for coming this year! We hope to make this an annual event. Pictures will be uploaded shortly =)
